This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

2.1 Information You Provide. We collect information you voluntarily provide including: account registration details (name, email, password); billing information processed by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers); prize fulfillment details (name, email, address); Church Pack group information; and support communications.

2.2 Automatically Collected Information. We automatically collect device information, usage data (game scores, questions answered, time spent), IP address, approximate location, and performance data when you use the Service.

2.3 Local Storage. The Service uses browser localStorage to store game preferences (difficulty, mute settings, music choices) on your device. This is stored locally and not transmitted to our servers unless you have an active account.

2.4 Third-Party Sources. We may receive information from Stripe (payment processing), authentication providers, and Chillcations/Arrivia (prize fulfillment).

We use your information to: provide and improve the Service; process payments and manage accounts; fulfill prizes and verify eligibility; send transactional and promotional emails; detect fraud; comply with legal obligations; and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal information to third parties and do not use it for targeted third-party advertising.

4.1 Service Providers. We share information with trusted providers including: Stripe (payments); Base44 (platform hosting); Uploadcare (media); Arrivia/Chillcations (prize fulfillment); and email providers. These parties are bound by confidentiality obligations.

4.2 Prize Fulfillment. We share necessary contact information with prize fulfillment partners solely to deliver your prize.

4.3 Legal Requirements. We may disclose information as required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.

4.4 Business Transfers. Your information may be transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

4.5 Prize Winner Disclosure. As required by certain state laws, we may publish names and general locations of prize winners.

We retain personal information while your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Prize winner records are retained for a minimum of four (4) years. Financial records are retained as required by law. When no longer needed, information is securely deleted or anonymized.

We implement commercially reasonable security measures including SSL/TLS encryption, secure infrastructure, and access controls. However, no method of transmission is 100% secure. Contact support@holyfrijole.fun immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. The Kids game mode is designed to be playable without account registration. Parents may contact support@holyfrijole.fun to request deletion of any inadvertently collected information.

Access and Correction: Update your information via account settings or by emailing us.

Deletion: Request account deletion by emailing support@holyfrijole.fun. Some records may be retained as required by law.

California (CCPA): California residents may request disclosure, deletion, and opt-out of data sale (note: we do not sell data). Email us with subject "California Privacy Request."

Email Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from promotional emails via the link in any email. Transactional emails related to account and prizes will continue.

We use browser localStorage (not traditional cookies) for game state and preferences. We may use analytics tools to understand Service usage. You may modify browser settings to decline tracking, though this may affect Service functionality.

The Service may link to third-party sites including Stripe and Arrivia/Chillcations. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices. Please review their privacy policies before use.

Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to such transfer. Data protection laws in the US may differ from your jurisdiction.
